I have a nice body of work showing on the quaint Beekman Street in Saratoga Springs, New York. Inspiration for these small landscape paintings comes from my frequent trips to Kansas and Nebraska where you find an abundance of rolling hills, old fences, farms and barns, and the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets I've ever scene. Peacefulness is everywhere. As I sit on the porch of a beautiful five-bedroom farmhouse in Pawnee, Nebraska, sometimes all I can hear is the faint sound of an old windmill creaking in the distance. Because of the dreamy quality of these works, you could find these scenes really almost anyplace. These tiny oil paintings are 4x6 up to 9x12 and are painted on canvas. So, if you find yourself in the Saratoga region, skip over to the beautiful Sharon Crute Gallery at 73 Beekman Street where my paintings hang beside Sharon's fabulous equine works large and small. There is also currently a very interesting exhibit of photographs by Sue Clark of Sue Photography, Fine Art Photography sure to make you think and smile!
