Sometimes You Just Get Lucky
Well, I like to thank God for the small things in life. I sit here in my beautiful hotel room at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Oaks, PA. I'm here for the Market Square Wholesale Show which opens tonight, June 11th. I was here back in February and watched a blizzard from my room. This time is different, though. Many of you may know of my love for wild birds. I feed them at home and really enjoy having them outside my studio window. Well, I entered my room this time and discovered a tree outside of my window which blocks any view really of anything. At first I thought this might be a bad thing. Then I immediately discovered a beautiful nest about eight feet or so from my desk and in that nest is a very attentative Mamma Robin. What a blessing to be able to sit at my desk with my laptop and have a front row seat to nature at its best! I can't think of anything I would rather have a view of. She is lovely and a reminder of what incredible parents exist in the animal world. Humans could learn a thing or two from God's smallest creations! Oh, I am now joined by three little sparrows chatting up a morning greeting to Mrs. Robin. It's going to be a great day!

I love "my birds" too. I know they don't belong to anyone , but the ones I see in my yard are special to me! I love to feed them and provide a place for them to bathe. What they give me in return is priceless.
