Okay, now we're rolling. Let's try to add a few more new images. These will be available at my upcoming wholesale show at Market Square. Please email me at shellypanache@aol.com if anyone is interested in the work. Thanks so much!

I've Been So Bad

Yes, I admit it, I am sooooooooooooo bad at the technical administrative marketing part of my business it's not even funny!!! I had to let my website expire for a few reasons, and now I have no site. I need help. I have a shop on Etsy, but I don't even think I set up my paypal correctly. Now I'm having trouble sending photos with my fab new camera. Seems as though the images are too large. Ugghhhhhhhhhhhh! I have so many wonderful pieces of art to share and yet it seems so hard to do just that. So what do I do when having all these technical difficulties? I go and create new art in my own little ShellyLand. That comes easy to me. If anyone out there can help me with a new website, give me a shout out. Anyway, I'm going to try to post some new images, and we shall see what happens. By the way, I'll be showing at Market Square in Pheonixville, PA February 6-8. I'll be in the Gallery and orderwriting, too! Talk soon..........that is if I can still figure out how to use my phone!

It's hard to believe that it's already July. It's true, the older we get, the faster time seems to go. It seems we have to make an effort to enjoy the small wonders. The more I look around, the more I realize that some of the happiest and most peaceful times of my life are with animals. They never complain and are always eager to please, love and be loved. Check out this cute oil painting of a baby goat. (The painting is available through The Saltbox in Greensboro, NC.) So, the next time you are stressed, just walk outside and look around. The birds will also sing for you, at no charge, the chipmunks will chirp and perform and the sound of the Morning Dove's wings is more relaxing than any radio station, and best of all none of them are trying to sell you anything or give you unwanted advice!

Sometimes You Just Get Lucky
Well, I like to thank God for the small things in life. I sit here in my beautiful hotel room at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Oaks, PA. I'm here for the Market Square Wholesale Show which opens tonight, June 11th. I was here back in February and watched a blizzard from my room. This time is different, though. Many of you may know of my love for wild birds. I feed them at home and really enjoy having them outside my studio window. Well, I entered my room this time and discovered a tree outside of my window which blocks any view really of anything. At first I thought this might be a bad thing. Then I immediately discovered a beautiful nest about eight feet or so from my desk and in that nest is a very attentative Mamma Robin. What a blessing to be able to sit at my desk with my laptop and have a front row seat to nature at its best! I can't think of anything I would rather have a view of. She is lovely and a reminder of what incredible parents exist in the animal world. Humans could learn a thing or two from God's smallest creations! Oh, I am now joined by three little sparrows chatting up a morning greeting to Mrs. Robin. It's going to be a great day!
